Quoting LotteIbsen:

I'm from Denmark, live and work in Alanya. Luckily for me Tömer has a division here. The course was very good and learned a lot in a short time.

Just wondering because of your username. I'm from Denmark as well and used to live in Alanya. Wish you the best with finding a teacher, there should be some considdering the huge almount of foreigners there.

My vocab ıs very good ıts talkıng that I need to practıce. I do talk to my son ın Turkısh but there ıs only so much you can say to a 1 year old before he eıther looks at you lıke you have lost the plot or he gets bored and throws one of hıs toys at you - usually a hard plastıc one. I normally take that as my cue to shut up!!!

I cannot teach you Turkish, but check out Live Mocha to get started.  It will help you build a great base of language.  Also, check out The Turkish Listening Library where you can find great listening opportunities for the Turkish language learner.  Especially look at the Handcrafted Audio Podcast that is specifically for beginners.  But there are also great listening files and links for more advanced learners as well.  You can find it on itunes or link to it from the website.  Good luck.
