what's the difference between "birçok" amd "çok"? Obviously both of them can be used to mean "many"...

and also the difference between "daha" and "daha çok"? it's so confusing, as "daha" already means "more" right? and "daha çok" also means "more"?

Can't the single use of "çok" imply "too" as well?

Eg: Karnım ağrıyor, çok yedim ya! - My stomach hurts, I ate too much!

‘çok’ means ‘a large number or amount’. As an adjective, ‘çok’ is used before singular nouns, or adjectives in all types of sentences:

Bugün hava çok sıcak değil.
Bu işe çok para yatırdık.
Bu sorular çok zor.

In interrogative sentences the interrogative particle ‘-mu’ (ie it is always ‘-mu’ as it harmonizes with the vowel ‘o’ in ‘çok’.) may either follow ‘çok’ (to emphasize ‘çok’) or the noun or the adjective:

Sınav çok mu zordu?
Ali’nin çok mu parası var?
Bu işe çok para yatırdınız mı?

When making a sentence with a noun-based verb negative interrogative the interrogative particle ‘-mi’ always follows ‘değil’.

Sınav çok zor değil miydi?
Bu sorular çok kolay değil mi?

‘çok’ as an adverb is used before the verb, and means ‘a large amount’:

Seni çok seviyorum.
