Deli,
Thank you for trying to translate it. I really appreciate the effort.
I try and look up each word in the dictionary but I need to develop a better understanding of the language structure - many words I cannot find on the dictionary.
Thanks again B-)

Siiri begenmene sevindim. Elbette olanak olursa memnuniyetle sana okuyabilirim.
im glad you enjoyed(liked) the poem.certainly if there is a possibility i can read it to you with pleasure
Ben aslinda Kürt kökenliyim, Babam Kürt annem Türk.Kürt milliyetcisi degilim.
actually im of kurd origin, my father is kurd my mother is turk, i am not a kurdish nationalist.
Türkiyede Oldum olasi bir demokrasi sorunu var.
There is the problem of democrasy in Turkey, since long time.
Bende her düsünebilen insan gibi, ekmek ve su kadar insanlik icin gerekli olan, demokrasi mücadelesi verdim.
I am also as any able-to-think-human being, did my fight for democrasy, which is necessary for humanity like bread and water. (Well, sorry for the comment, but it made me smile to see bread and water here. Bread means nothing to Koreans, since they eat rice instead of bread. A nice culture difference)
Yaptigim aktivitelerden dolayi ceza aldim bir kac yil cezaevinde kaldim.
I received some punishment because of my activities and been prisoned for some years.
Cezaevinden ciktiktan sonra calismalarima devam ettim ve yeni cezalar aldim.
I countinued on my activities when I was out of the prison and received more punishments.
Yaklasik 9 yil türkiyede degisik kimliklerle gizli yasadim.
Lived in Turkey around 9 years under different IDs, secretly.
Daha sonra almanya ya geldim ve burada iltica ettim.
Then I moved to Germany and took a refugee here.
Ilticam burada kabul edildi. Simdi burada politik ilticaci statüsüyle yasiyorum.
My refugee application has been accepted. Now I live in here with the status of refugee.
Sana bir isim önerebilirim. "KARDELEN" Snowdrop Türkce karsiligi cok anlamli. Tabi begenirsen.
I can suggest you a name. KARDELEN (snowdrop, really nice flower imho, and used as a symbol for many things) Its meaning in Turkish is very meaningful. Of course, if you like it.
Bana dans cd ni gönderecektin. Unuttunmu
You were to send me your dance-CD. Did you forget ?
Kendine iyi bak
Take care,
Gözlerinden öpüyorum
Kissing your eyes. (a nice ending salutation) |

I really appreciate your efforts Deli.
I saw something that I skipped.
politik ilticaci statüsüyle
Status of political refugee.
Don't know the English equivalent. But I think you can get the meaning.
