well, this is the negative translation.
How can I make in the positive form ?
"You can understand" how fast you are/were only when you break.
Is that OK ?

Yes....I understand your translation....thanks so much sunflowerseed. But....is there not something in this phrase that refers to destiny (kader)? If you could help me to understand this message a little bit more, that would be great....

Ah! Kader...
Looks like a typo here.
It should be "kadar" to suit the rest of the sentence.
