Can anyone tell me about the Military base in Kutahya please?

I've been searching the internet but there is very little information about it. Anything at all would be of great help to me! I believe it is an Air Base?? Is this true?

Yes, there is a military air base in Kütahya where inexprienced new soldiers were trained and educated and after these(1 or 3 months) they will sent to the Air Bases or Main Jet Air Bases which are placed in 9 different cities/towns in Türkiye if im not wrong, these bases are in Balıkesir, Konya, Merzifon, Malatya, Diyarbakır, Ankara, İzmir and Eskişehir.

My partner is currently there. I've asked him but although his english is good, he finds it difficult to explain things.

He trained there, but has been kept on as a Komander. They did not move him after training. He now trains the new soldiers.

He's a Komander. I don't know if they have different grades of Komander.

He went in as part of his National Service and after 3 months training he made Komander but they kept him there rather than move him to another base.

He seems to rotate his jobs within the base. His main job concerns the new recruits but he's constantly moving around.

I'd just like to know a bit about the base; he tries to explain but it's not always easy.

He has nothing to do with base when he finished 15 months of duty. He is just a senior soldier who teaches the new comers what to do. It is good for him, easier then being another ordinary soldiers. But nothing much. So you better ask him which city he used to live, what is his job and graduation. This soldier thing is permanent (unless he chose to stay) If he stays e will be like NCO but can not go further. (keep it as a secret but they have very low payment)
