Note: Many of you. (and you know who you are) helped write a letter to my wifes friend in Istanbul. I am posting the first paragraph of her letter and my tranlation for you to comment on or correct. Thanks.
Mektubunu alinca çok mutlu oldum. Senden aldiğim ikinçi mektup meketubunun Türkçe olması beni dahada sevendirdi çok güzel yazmişsin başarilinin devamini dilerim ve seni cesaretin den dolayi kutlarim.
Getting the letter produced much happiness. As if I got from you twice as a letter, the letters’ Turkish to me is so much more delightfully beautiful that you (apparently) have written permanently successful I am feelng and to you for your courage I congratulate you.
