Sular Bizden Akillidir Sular bizden akillidir, daha evvel görür aksami, Iner havadan önce, karanliga, Büyük bir balik gibi ortadan silinir, Kaçisirken hayvanlar daga. Sular bizden akillidir, memnun olur, Sadece agaçlardan. Baska insanlardan degil, Bizi yalniz birakan. Sular bizden akillidir, uyumaz, Açar mavilige, iri gözlerini. Ve bekler bir ölüm sirri içinde, Kendi hayatinin yerini.

It's a poem by Fazıl Hüsnü Dağlarca
my try:
Waters are wiser than us
Waters are wiser than us, they see the evening earlier,
They descend before the air, to the darkness,
They disappear like a big fish,
When animals run away to the mountain.
Waters are wiser than us, they become satisfied,
Just with trees.
Not because of other people,
Who leave us alone.
Waters are wiser than us, they don't sleep,
They open their big eyes to blueness (or: to blue skies),
And wait inside a death secret,
For their own place in life.

I LOVE THIS POEM.
Waters are Wiser Than We
Waters are wiser than we; they see the night sooner
From the sky into the dark they recede
And vanish like a huge fish
While hills receive a wild stampede.
Waters are wiser than we; they can find joy
In the trees only,
Not in strangers
Forcing us to live lonely
Waters are wiser than we; they don't sleep,
But keep their eyes open where the blue thrives
And couched in the secret of death they wait
For a place for their own lives.
