istabul is very expensive but at the same time there are more work opporunaties,bodrum is very expensive for visitors,The other cities are expensive but in these cities the pay is more,its the same in any country.If we want to fly to turkey and we are going to tourist areas then its obviously cheaper,if you are planning a trip after your flight then obviously the cost incurred will be much higher.

Istanbul is expensive but it's also possible to find really cheap places. If you're a stranger, you'd possibly go to the expensive ones. If you search a bit, you can eat cheap, you can buy cheap clothes, there are many cheap hair dressers etc. And sometimes somethings are cheaper than other cities, forexample the cheapest taxis are in İstanbul.
