I wonder if someone can form the turkish alphabet (only)
in a sentence form. I hope someone understands what I mean.

eg: english alphabet the first pronounciation would be kind of like this: aybee seedy ( a b c d)...

well...this is as close to an (american) english person's
pronunciation as I can make to form a comprehensive sentence to practice the alphabet:

abbeh jeche de effe
geh heyeh uh
iszekkeh
lemmene oh
eupedeh
seh sheh teyuh
ew veyeh zeh

Hi,
Only in sentence form, sounds might me mixed, for example,
"e" in "ayy bee" is different from "e" in "aa bee" so ,with small explanations I can write it.
Nevertheless I am not an expert on pronunciation

Here is the speeling of letters:

a-be-ce-çe-de-e-fe-ge-yumuşak g(ğ- ha- ı- i-je- ke- le- me- ne- o- ö- pe- re- se-şe-te-u- ü- ve-ye-ze.

As you know, spelling of the letters never changes from word to another word in Turkish - in deep there is ,but don't mind it for now-, so "e" is always pronunced as "e" in the word "bed" in English.

Let's check the other vowels out:

a as spelling "stOp"
ı as "Among"
i as "familY"
o as "Oscar"
ö as "bİrd"
u as " actUally"
ü as ..... Opps! I cant remember any words with Ü in English but I hope you would know how to spell the word "Türk" in Turkish

In addition to vowels ,some different consonants need more attention

ç = CHina but "çe" as CHEqeu
j = I think, again "j" is impossible to pronunce in formal English but I think "How iS Your mother?" s+ y nearer.
ş = SHop but "şe" as SHElves

Ok, How about the long name "yumuşak ge"?
We produce this sound like keeping water in your throat to gargle
within the word it actullay helps us to read the vowel comes before longer
I dont know why but this sound's name is soft ge - yumuşak Ge

Here are some comments on vowel sounds in Turkish

a as in "stOp"
ı as in "finacIAl" or "othEr"
i as in "famiLY"
o as in "Or"
ö as in "bIrd"
u as in "yOU"
ü as in "assUme" (that is the closest vowel sound I remember at this moment)

hope this helps,

jenk
