Yes, they are different. I mean you have ethnic Turkish people living there next to Laz people. Laz comunnity is an ethnic minority living on the east cost of the Black Sea toward Goergia. They are one of many peoples of Caucasus region. They language belongs to kartvelian group which includes other languages from Caucasus, mainly Georgia. The are highlanders, their culture are much different, they dance and they sing beautifully, lively, they are there friendly but at the dsame time they are driven by very extreme feelings, so you can find most liric and most lively songs. If you want to find something about this minority go to www.lazebura.net

When I hear of Trabzon, it makes me smile. In fact, Karadeniz people they all make smile The mother's side of my father is all from Trabzon.
They are cheerful people but they are also known for their sudden anger. I think they are attached to their city very much even if they immigrate to other cities.
They have a football team which is one of the four big turkish teams.
A folk dance from Trabzon.
