How long does kuru fasulye need to cook till its ready/soft enough? Without a pressure-cooker?

I just made kıymalı kuru fasulye, and it has been boiling for over half an hour now and just wondered how long it takes before it is ready???

I did put the fasulye in water the night before and let it wait till I used it this evening.

Thanks in advance.

Why dont you try a bean, say at every 20 minutes, see if it is cooked yet.

Tasting and experimenting is the key when there's no instructions on the packing
