Ever since I've started learning Turkish, I found quite a lot websites with Turkish grammar. However, speaking a language requires more than grammar and vocabulary.
Do you know any websites with stories written in simple Turkish? I tried reading online newspapers but they're too difficult for me yet. I was able to find only simple Hoca stories.

Does anyone know any other resources for putting theory into practice?

the best way to learn a language is to live in a country which is the motherland of that language for a while...

I recommend u "Kreuzbergiyiz hepimiz" by Mumtaz Ergun. It's written with quite simple language. I could make a copy and sand it to you. I have also some stories in turkish, some qiute difficult, some very easy. My favourite is about a snowman. It's lovely

Daydreamer! bir sey degil! Culture differences are not that important, however watching GORA I knew that scene I see must be funny but wasn't for me because I didn't know the Turkish "background" of a joke.
