when the men go into the army do they change?

it was just something i was wondering as this is what i got told

I can only speak from personal experience because I my partner and I are going through it at the moment.

Personally, yes they do change but for the better. He has matured so much...it has changed his view about his own life and come to realise just what is important to him.

He recognises his own strengths and weaknesses both physically and mentally. He has pride in his achievements.

The only thing he has trouble with is controling his moods...he is so used to being tough and strong and even his father has told him to calm himself a little. However, this will disappear once he has finished.

Again, this is only from our own experience. Someone else may have another viewpoint

Thankyou melek. i heard that they can become weak in the army. Which causes the arguments. my boyfriend is going net month and im just worried about how much he will change.

I wouldn't say they become weak. If anything, my partner is stronger!

Training is exhausting for them...whenever I spoke to him he sounded very quiet, but it was just the shock. After training, they settle into a routine!
