Exchanging Gifts

In a Turkish wedding, I know it varies from region to region.However I want to know what kind of gifts do you guys exchange? Someone told me the groom will buy a ring, wedding dress and chocolates for the bride. He will also pay for the wedding reception. Then, the bride have to buy him a suit, ring for the Nikah and also pay for the Kina party....
I am non Turkish and I want to know the customs.

in Turkish weeding grom gives his heart to bride and bride gives her heart to groom,isn't it the best gift? and material gifts changable to regions or the depend type of families,so doesn't a big standart about that

Sure, we've already exchange the hearts...Its just the celebration part plus the customs and traditions
