Hi! I am looking forward to meeting my Turkish in laws at a family wedding in a few months. MY partner is Australian with Turkish parents. We have decided to live together and know his Mum will miss him terribly. I´d really like to send her a letter before the move to offer some reassurance that he will be loved and looked after while he is on the other side of the world! We chat regularly and her English is better understood when we type but I really wanted to know if there are any Turkish phrases that she would appreciate and understand instead of plainly writing "I love your son and he will be in good hands. I promise to care for him and always be by his side with whatever he wants to do in life. I´m his partner and I choose to love and protect him as he does for me"....along those lines. I hope someone can help...?
