Hey ppl,

Wondering if anyone can help me, my boyfrind speaks good english, but with him being in the army at the minute it is starting to get worse, was wondering if anyone knew the best way to learn english without any disks but books, he does speak good english so it wont be starting from basics, but he needs touch ups on like "can and cant and there and their"
You know like putting sentences together more than pegion english? Do you think it will also need to be like from turkish to english? argh neeed help!! does anyone understand or have i just blabbed on about rubbish?

If understood cant anyone help?

Hmm... Well this is just an opinion of what I would do if I were in your shoes. I'd get him some books with turkish/english translation so he can read the sentence structure side by side. You know learning english for turkish people or something like that. Then I'd also get him a basic grammar book and also another one that teaches vocabulary at his level.

P.S. If he has ipod or a mp3 player, I'd record lessons in my voice and download it all for him.

go to http://www.tulumba.com

then search in books, language, english.

there are quite a few english grammar books there.
