Ever play Mount and Blade? A Turkish couple are developing this shareware game. They've done quite a good job at it.

It's along the lines of a typical roleplaying game, except that there's no magic whatsoever. Normally when you're in a swords and no-sworcery game, it's a semi-historical real-time strategy (there's tons of those out there). This game however is set in a fictional midieval world.

Certainly along the lines of Europe with a bit of Asia as well. Mostly in terms of the workings of the setting and of course the arms and armor.

What I like about it is that it has a really high replay value. It's a very basic game at present (much of the game is done, but the plot is rather empty). Even without much of a plot it's still fun to play.

Up to level six the game is free (demo). After that you can register for what (here in the U.S., anyways) is rather inexpensive for a game. And even though the fee is low, you'll still be able to use the same code when they finish making the game.
