Canlı, since you're learning as well, I thought I'd mention this to you:
dedikodu yapınca, you always use the miş-li zaman

Oh but it's simple you know, you can take that very literaly: 'the tense "with miş"' - "miş-li"
A lot of gossiping just comes through hearsay, you didn't get the information first hand, you heard it through someone else or didnt witness it yourself, hence that tense and not the geçmiş zaman

Take a look here: http://www.turkishclass.com/tl_lesson.php?lesson_id=19

No, she meant you would choose and use the tense with "-miş" when you gossip about people.

E.g. "Hey, sen de duydun mu? Aenigma, TC'nin cadısıyMIŞ!"

"Hey! Did you, too, hear that they say Aenigma is the witch of TC?"

P.S. Sorry, Elisa, for answering Aenigma's question to you.

No,she means while talking you use mIş zaman, because its something you are not sure of.
So you should say,'they've said,i've been told' things like that.
But here we dont make gossip ...ermmm,i mean not only lol
We dır dır too
