İ got a present ,a lovely Traditioanl İndian cloth.
Well, its not a cloth yet,it needs sewing to become cloth, its just the material
İ dont know what do they call it,we say 'İndian Sari'
So anyone has any idea how can we were it ?
Do we wrap ourselves with it ?
Can we make it a dress ? how ?
Any ideas ?

Both are correct in the English dictionary! So personal choice I think

It is wrapped, not sewn. Your petticoat should be sewn though. The petticoat is a must for anchoring all in place. The petticoat should have a strong waistband in order to support things and hold them in place.
