I am sorry folks, i just got stuck with an english word and i do not exactly remember how i used to put the word "council" in a sentence. (Gosh! it has been such a long time since I have not been practicing my english with native speakers..)
can I say:
Do you council people?
or I should rather say
Do you do counciling?
or something else?
thanks,

Hey guys
English is a stupid language! Not phonetic like Turkish!
This is a mistake loads of native speakers make.
COUNCIL is a noun. It means the a supervisory body like a Konsey or the local authority like the Belediye. e.g. Today I paid my council tax. The mayor is the head of the town council.
COUNSEL can be a verb. It means to give someone advice, like Danişmak. e.g. A therapist counsels people.
COUNSEL can also be a noun. This means wise advice, like Öğüt. e.g. I didn't know what to do, then my grandma gave me her counsel.
COUNSELLING is a noun. It means the act of giving advice, like Danışmanlık. A school or university may have a Counselling Service: Rehberlik Hizmeti. e.g. My life is falling apart, I think I need to go for counselling.
So you can say
Do you COUNSEL people
or Do you do COUNSELLING?
I think I need to lie down on the psychiatrist's couch after this question from you jenk ..
