In America people (and maybe UK) People might not understand.

My son in law described a visit to the barber in Turkey. It is very elaborate procedure. I understand that they break for tea.

Don't guys shave at home in front of the mirror?

I mean all the guys I know in the US shave themselves. I've never heard of someone going to the barbers to get a shave. I mean haircut yes, shave, no.
