The fact that you english-speaking people like to abbreviate things very much and that Marion first suggested to call me "pag" and then girleegirl, "pali" and finally Aenigma, "pagli", reminded me of a well-known humour type in Turkey. In the past the trend, I think, was to say the full version, even together with other appellations if available, when, for example, people introduce themselves. Do you have the similar humour like the following?
"007!...Bond!... James Bond!..."
"Damme!... Van-Damme!... Claude Van Damme!.... Jean-Claude Van Damme!"
"Pag!... Pagli!... Pagliaccio!... (Nice to meet you.)"
And then occured another type modeled in respect to the above type (thanks to Selçuk Erdem):
"Ox!... Just ox that you know!..."
"Öküz!... Bildiğin öküz!..."
