can anybody tell me what is this miserable idea???
i wanted to check my sister.s blog, cos i live in Turkey now,my family is in Romania, and loook what appeared:::::

T.C. Fatih 2.Asliye Hukuk Mahkemesi 2007/195 Nolu Kararı gereği bu siteye erişim engellenmiştir.

OK. There is this Muslim teacher called Adnan Hoca. HE also goes by the name of Harun Yahya. He writes books about creation and other such subjects from an Islamin viewpoint.
The secular people here don't really like him, in particular he has got a lot of his books into some schools in a way they don't agree with.
Someone wrote something nasty about him in their blog.
He went to court in Turkey claiming defamation of character.
The court agreed with him and blocked access from Turkey to all blogs hosted by the same blog spot.
GEÇMİŞ OLSUN: to you, to your friend, to Turkey, and to free speech!
Good job no one takes offence at what we write in teh forums here, or a court in Turkey might ban TC !

Thank u so much, but...that way i could learn about my younger sister.s life....cos....phone is so so expensive....
so we need to take care what words we use also here??

Oh..lets hope not...I have such fun talking about forbidden subjects here.
In any case, my husband told me that American movies are very censored in Turkey as well. We were watching a movie the other night and my husband exclaimed..."that isn't what he said when I saw the movie in Turkey!!" Of course what was censored was the cursing and bad language. But he said he noticed that a lot of love scenes are cut from movies too and admitted he had no idea he was being so censored.
