Hello everyone,
How are we all doing? I am in Istanbul currently with my fiancee she is working unfortunately and I
am looking after our friends son Eddis he seems quite happy playing computer games and watching TV. I would like more time with her but work comes first it just seems a long day when she goes out early and then comes home late also, still at least I can be with her that is the main thing.
I went to my first Turkish wedding ceremony on sunday but it was only registry office and was very quick but enjoyable, it was near Beskitas so many people there marrying on sunday I was very surprised, anyway take care all see you soon

Merhaba Richard
Glad to hear you and Nesrin are doing well and enjoying your time in Turkey. Sorry she has to work during your stay there, but yes you are right, the main thing is that you're both together for the time you have there
Wish I could go to Turkey again, but for now I'am just happy to wait for my husband's return home, just 12 more days left!
Anyway have a wonderful time and a safe return home!

'i would be so shy to tell such private things in public am i too old fashioned?'
There's nothing too private about people greeting each other and asking about their significant others when there is a common interest, that they both happened to be turkish!
While he is expressing his happiness being in Turkey with his love, I'am anxiouslly waiting for my spouse to come home So what is wrong with that?
If you think these are consider private things being said in public, try reading some of the very personal translation requests that are being regularly posted here on TC.
