I have been using this conjugator a long time with XP
I installed Vista and now it is not working
and my email to winmekmak@ipb.nu is returned as "undeliverable".
Anyone have trouble with Vista and WinMekMak?
MIKE

i'm guessing a new version of winmekmak hasn't been made available for vista...?

i'm using it on xp and version 0.20 is working fine.

they might need to bring out a version 0.21 to make it compatible with vista...

From WMM website:
Runs on most localized versions of Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT / 2000 / XP as far as I know.

Nothing about Vista (yet)...

I wonder what kind of tricks it does to not run under Vista.

A well behaved program should run anywhere.

I don't like M$ but I tried this program under Vista. It's very strange. It still runs in the background after the error.
You need to kill it using a process manager (task manager or something). If you don't kill it, it consumes all the cycles (in an endless loop I think) and you may even not notice it. On the other hand I managed to run many programs that gave some warnings or didn't run at the first attempt under Vista.

Yeah. That's what it did for me. I only had 2 - 3 programs that had trouble with Vista. I was using XP 64 bit and it was becoming more and more unstable. Lots of programs had trouble with it and drivers were hard to find or didn't exist. So I needed to change. Just miss WinMekMak but overall I am happy with Vista.

Thanks for all the replies.

Have you installed Virtual PC 2007 from MicroSoft? it's free. So you can run WinMekMak. I have an NT VM and it runs fine there.
