do you celebrate rosh hashannah? what do you this day?
or you celebrate "normal" new year?

we celebrate the Jewish new year with a special meal that includes symbolic food like apples and honey (so that the new year will be a sweet one), pomegranates (so that our virtues and good deeds will be as many as its grains) and many others. There are also special prayers and customs, as it is considered as the day of judgement, in which each person is believed to pass in front of God, who sits on a throne and evaluates what the person had done the passing year and decides what will happen to him the next year.

As for the "normal" new year- many (non religious) people celebrate it for fun, although there are no official benefits (no days off work or off school).

thats very interesting. who represents then GOD on throne? do i make sense? is it a sort of play? i didnt know every year ends with a day of judgement a bit scary!
i really couldnt make sense of this part.
God decides what would happen to him/her from year to year? sounds like our annual planning :d
