Hi Oeince - it's a difficult one because although Kerry is more commonly a girl's name, it is also a boy's name too (it is my sister's name actually )
It would not be correct to write "Dear Kerry Findlater".
I would write just "Dear Kerry"
It is a little bit informal, but quite acceptable these days.
Hope it helps

I would start the letter:
Dear Kerry Findlater,
Indicating Mr/Ms/Mrs/Miss should only be done if you are SURE of the gender of the addressee.

Well in my opinion, it would seem a bit rude if you already have the name. I would stick with "Dear Kerry" if the letter is going to UK, or take Elisabeth's advice if it's going to USA !

Hey, if it is going to the US, you can just say:
Dear_______________, and leave it blank. EKKKK....I hate form letters!! In any case I do agree with Aenigma, if you know their name it would be rude not to use it.
