az zaman kaldi kavusmamiza gecmis olsun askim. MY TRY:
A little time remains before we are reunited. get well soon my love.

You translation is basically (or entirely) correct. My only comment is that unless he knew that you were sick or feeling bad, that "gecmis olsun" means literally "let it be past" so Turks say it to someone who has been ill etc, but in this context I think the literal translation fits.IMHO.
