Could anybody advise me the best way to drive to Turkey ( Kalkan ). Also i plan on taking some personal belongings in a small van, can you do this on a tourist visa ?

However, that would imply that they were able to bring the car in on a tourist visa. They drove through Europe and crossed to the Asian side at Gallipoli then drove down through Izmir to Bodrum. I understand some people take the ferry from Italy to Izmir but not sure whereabouts in Italy this leaves from. I am sure others will have some more info on this though. Good Luck!
