Last July i travelled to Hisaronu with friends. From our first day there we felt comfortable and welcomed at the hotel.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff there, always smiling and happy to help with anything you needed. Some may say its their job to be helpful, but these people wanted to help genuinely, not just because we were spending money as most may think.
I have travelled to most parts of Europe and can say that the turkish people are the most warm, friendly people i have met.

We liked it that much we returned this year in July and Sept. And have made some good friends too out there, Turkish and Ex - pats too.
The hotel owners have even allowed us to leave our electicals there till next time in May 08.

Janette

i agree turkish people are extremely helpful, kind and hospitable.I would say however that the turkey and turks for that matter, that you meet in resorts are different from those that you will meet in 'real' Turkey. On the other hand if you feel comfortable with the friends you have made then thats great and enjoy your holidays!

Turks take practicing "random acts of kindness" to a level that I have rarely experienced anywhere else.
