Edinilen bilgiye göre, Samandağ ilçesine bağlı Koyunoğlu beldesinde ormanlık alanda henüz belirlenemeyen bir nedenle yangın çıktı.

İlk belirlemelere göre 5 hektarlık bir alanda etkili olan yangını söndürme çalışmalarına Antakya Orman Müdürlüğü ekipleri ve Antakya Belediyesi'ne bağlı ekipler katıldı.

8 arazöz, 2 dozer, 2 itfaiye, 1 greyder, 1 su tankeri ile karadan yürütülen söndürme çalışmalarına 2 yangın söndürme helikopteri de havdan destek verdi. Yaklaşık 80 kişilik bir ekiple yangına müdahale edildiğini belirten yetkililer, yangının kısmen kontrol altına alındığını bildirdi.

In Koyunoğlu part of Samandağ district a fire broke out in the forest and damaged 5 hectares of forest.

It has been advised that as a result of the efforts of a team of about 80 people the fire has been brought partialy under control.

As far as we can gather, the fire in Kouyunoğlu, Samandağ was started for a reason as yet unknown.

According to the first information, the effective fire fighting effort in the 5 hectare region was carried out by teams from Antakya's Forestry Commission and Antakya Municipality.

8 arazöz (sorry, don't know what this technical equipment is), 2 bulldozers, 2 fire trucks, 1 road surfacer, 1 water tanks were supported from the air by 2 fire-fighting helicopters. The officials who said that nearly 80 people were involved in the fire-fighting, also said that the fire had been partially brought under control.
