The CD I have for learning Türkçe says that toast is "tost" but the dictionary says it is "kızarmış ekmek"

Is toast actually eaten in Türkiye and if so, which one of the above is the description that would be used in daily speech???

Yes, toast is "kızarmış ekmek" that you make it in toaster,

toasted sandwich is tost, that you put cheese etc between two slice of bread and toast it...

Yes, and squashed between the two flat layers of a grill so that the edges seal and the cheese melts inside, the outside getting nice and brown. Then, a glass of fresh-squeezed portakal suyu and we have a heavenly breakfast on the Mediterranean Sea.

As you say "freshly squeezed" I assume that portakal suyu is "orange juice". But we buy sour cherry juice from a local Turkish shop and that is described as vişne nektari

What is the difference between portakal suyu and portakal nektari ???

The first is pure juice, second has added sugar and is diluted with water.
