Just some thoughts on 1st November

November again started by All Saints Day in Christian world.A day of remembering those who passed away.
I just thought of Audrey Hepburn and wanted to share her words "how to remain beautiful"I think she meant not only personal beauty but spiritual one.
We should hurry to love people and forgive them as they leave this world sometimes too fast.
Below is a wonderful poem Audrey Hepburn wrote
When asked to share her "beauty tips."
It was read at her funeral years later.
"For attractive lips, speak words of kindness...
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone...
People, even more than things, have to be restored,
Renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed;
Never throw out anyone.
Remember, if you ever need a helping hand,
You will find one at the end of each of your arms.
As you grow older,you will discover that you have two hands;
One for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.
If you share this with another woman,
Something good will happen.
You will boost another woman's self esteem,
And she will know that you care about her. "

Thank you for remembering such an important feast day for the Catholics, Orthodox (they celebrate it on a different day of the year) and other various Christian demoninations. All Sts. Day is intended to celebrate all those who had martyred themselves for the sake of Christianity. If you would like to learn more, here is a link:

Quoting AEnigma III: Do we always have to talk about religion on this website? Incidently, it was interesting to see Roman catholic members disgussing how horrifying the divorce laws in Turkey are compared to the US !!! If you are REALLY catholics, in the eyes of (your) God, you are never REALLY divorced either without special dispensation from the Pope! You are all doomed to eternal hellfire!

OUCH...My toes are burning!! Really AEnigma...it would take the patiences of ALL the Saints to stay with my Ex-Husband! An annulment isn't difficult to obtain and well worth it, if you ask me!!

Well, with all due respect, I was not criticising divorce, merely showing what a mockery people make of their religion

my intention was to draw your attention to people that has died not religion..is it important in the eyes of almighty power whatever we call it??????
and henry,better pray for him..unhappy in his search for ideal love..Defender of faith as coronation ring states(the title given to a poor Henry after his respond to Luther thesis and kept so far by Henry's descendands)Anyway,do not forget that Henry's treasure was empty and the church properties were so tempting...always the power,money and sex
the world has not changed much since henry's times
