A question special for tourists and travellers: what do you have in your house that reminds you of Turkey? Are it gifts, souvenirs or...?

Myself I have two carpets (a sumak bought in Istanbul and a kilim as a gift from East-Turkey), a nargileh, many earrings/necklaces with nazar (the evil eye protection), a coffeemug with the name of Allah in Arab from Istanbul and of course loads of pictures.

I have lace that my mother and sister-in-law made, ceramics, Iznik tiles, some Ebru art, tea set in my china closet, Turkish tea pot on my stove, some Turkish cookware, a photo album of Turkey on my coffee table, table clothes, lamps and a carpet that was given to me by my husbands family. I guess if you can't live in Turkey - you bring it home with you... lol

I forgot a lot of things now I see the lists of others. So I add: Turkish tea, 18 CD's, several shawls, a photocamera, several (fake!) perfumes, salep powder, ezo gilin soup and many books.
