this was posted in the date and time section

It is ten thirty five. = Saat on bire (11-e) yirmi beş (25) var.

hmmm isn't thirty "otuz"? and "on bire" eleven?

i think it should be this way:
It is ten thirty five. =Saat onu (10-i) otuz beş (25) var.

am i right? or does the word "var" make it different? i'm confused...

'on bir' is eleven.
you can say it 'saat on otuz bes' too.

that's what i thought... the time stated in the admin lessons was 10 thirty five but the turkish translation was different... (or is it safe to say wrong?) so i got confused by that...
there was another wrong translation i think at the date and time.... anyway i posted a comment about it... i hope it would be corrected. thanks for the help

oh this two were the translations in the admin lessons that are wrong...

It is ten thirty five. = Saat on bire (11-e) yirmi beş (25) var.
It is ten forty. = Saat on bire (11-e) yirmi (2 var.

forty is k1rk right? so shouldn't it be Saat onu kirk?

I did not mean that Saat on bire (11-e) yirmi beş (25) var. is wrong. All I said was you could say 'saat on otuz bes' as well.
"Saat on bire (11-e) yirmi beş (25) var" is correct.
you can say 'saat on kirk' or 'saat on bire yirmi var'

I think you missed one point that there are two ways of saying the time. One is 10:35 = saat on otus bes the other in 25 minutes to 11.Saat on bire (11-e) yirmi beş (25) var.

10:40 is the same as 20 minutes to 11. it is a different way of writing it. saat on kirk or saat on bire (11-e) yirmi 20 var.
