How is the Turkish Education System?

I am more interested in colleges/universities. Is there Associate degree (2 years college) and Bacharel Degree (4 years college)?

In Spain school age starts at 3...poor kids!!!no childhood,parents at work 12 hours,kids at school the same!!!oh...good times of inequality when mothers did not have to work!

you can find all opportunies about education in Turkey depend on ur economical conditions.Education is a base right on our law system but pity things not same in reality,if you want to got a good education you have to got enough economical power (sure some exceptions depend ingenuity level),but i can say education is as a luck depend on you coming from which socia-economical class...

Turkish education system is being changed for some years totally, so the information we write here will be old even in some months. But now,
a child starts primary school at the age of 7.(nursery school isnt compulsory).Primary education is compulsory untill the end of 8th grade.
Highschools are not compulsory and they give an education for four years.
After high school education,teenagers enter the university enterence exam.By counting their highschool grades and exam results and some extra things,student have an exact grade,if they get enough grade to choose a faculty or a two years higher education,they make their choice.So,they study in one of their choice.
Moreover,if you are graduated from an occupational high school (braches of electricity, furniture, accountant etc.) you can enter a 2 years university education directly.

So,what will be changed:
Education in Nursery school and high school will be compulsory.
Exams which are done at the end of primary school and high school will be done during the educational years.
Teaching tecniques and evaluating students' deeds are being improved........

goverment trying to make some revoliations on education system,but that look likes a plant a tree,so i think will take long time for pick fruits
