refugees escape from their country from prosecution, war, death,is that what you mean?
immigrants have free choices, choice of a country, religion, way of living...
refugees not..the only thing they want is to survive!
Do you wonder why so many Turks leave Turkish paradise?
Economy,yilgun_7.economy!

The economic world.
But economic resources in the world are not infinite.

Quoting yilgun-7:

Yes you are right.
The other side of love or friendship.
A realistic approach.
This is the question.
The phenomenon.

friendship is a kind of love with no sex included, would u agree?
requires more patience and understanding.

It sounds like a nice topic..
I will give it a start (my try)

I think two dates should be remembered in this topic:1960s and 1980s.
In 1960s there was a mass immigration to Europe (mainly to Germany and a bit to Holland If I am not wrong). They were INVITED there because of those countries needed for work force at the time.

1980's should be considered as 'escaping from Turkey' because of the cu-de-ta in Turkey in 1980. They were refugees.
Of course we should also mention the Kurdish refugees in this topic as, I think, especially 1990s were the times, some of the kurd came to Europe as refugees in thousands.
