im going to meet my boyfriends parents for the 1st time.
i will be staying 1 week so we can get to know each other, what would be the ideal gift to take them, also he has a younger sister of 12 at home what should i take her.

I could always ask my boyfriend what to take but sometimes i would like to be able to do things for myself.

My advice is always, be courteous and dress conservatively. It can be very nerve racking - especially if you don't speak Turkish - but you know, Turkish families are usually kind and very generous. Don't worry so much about the gift...your boyfriend should be able to tell you what everyone likes. Good luck.

I would suggest that you take gifts that are something native and unique to your country. Nothing to expensive (or too cheap)
