I was wondering what the general response to an American woman 10 years older than a Turkish man dating is? Is it frowned upon there or is it acceptable?

Turkish men normally marry younger women, like in the US.
I think it depends on the particular couple. I know of cases where there were 20 year differences, and all went well. The woman even lived 20 years longer than her husband.

American men typically marry younger women in the U.S. This is news to me..I would agree that there are alot of older men who are attractive to younger women. Then you also have older women who are attractive to younger men. I don't think it's accurate to state that older men normally marry younger women...
After a certain age it's pretty acceptable for either women or men to marry within a 10 year gap.

My spouse is 10 years younger than me and we have been married for over 40 years
