I don't know whether to be angry or cry...I watched all the parts of this series that was posted on Youtube....I just can't imagine being helpless to feed my children...being forced on the street to beg for money...and with the slightest infraction of the laws, be executed. I think it is amazing that we are outraged by the behavior of starlets like Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan...ect....and pay little or no attention to the real human suffering in the world! I don't know what grip, if any that the Taliban still has on Afganistan but I am sure this is just a small sampling of what goes on in so many places around the world.

I think seeing how bad it can get really makes me appreciate the freedoms we have much more and makes me realize that we have to fight for freedom if it's in danger of being hijacked... It really shows what's important. It is horrible that so many people have to suffer so greatly because of a group of psychos' dictatorship! There doesn't have to be so much poverty and suffering in the world if people were less evil.

but doesnt you friend thehandsome and many other "peace loving" people say, NOT TO INTERFERE, NOT INTERVENE! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO INTERVENE!
????
they all summoned the victims up and accuses USA and west (instead of domestic and foreign terrorsists).
yeah, lets leave those women to their own fate, to their shariah law of their religion.
let us enjoy our lives together with them who call to ignore and not interfere.

you know what makes me angry?
the head of the taliban police says: if you built us a special place for our executions we wouldnt use the football stadium.

instead of criticising you should help us!

isnt it a f...ng very often used statement?

YOU SHOULD HELP US!!!

give us money!

the super eastern mentality! the west must help us!
the west must help the whole asia, the whole africa and south america!
and if the west helps, the west is f...ng evil.
if it doesnt help its f...ng evil.

the west is anyway evil.

when westerners are in need or trouble, they dont sit on their bottoms and wait until someone comes and helps them. they organise charity actions, help marathons.

and when its about easterners, we sit, we do nothing except for complaining on our poor lives and criticise the wealthy west.

In relation to that - I think Sarkozy said once that it's not colonialism that made Africa so poor, it's their own fault... needless to say, it infuriated the poor Africans .

I agree that the West shouldn't stand silent when there are such atrocities taking place in other countries, but... when they do intervene, is it because they are so concerned with human rights? I don't think so. They didn't do anything about Darfur and the US was best friends with Saddam as well as Musharaf (whatever you spell it). Europe and US are friends with S. Arabia - another oppressive regime... it's all about fighting for interests and benefits, unfortunately.

If you are interested, here is a good video about how great Britain was to Arabs: Britan, Israel, Palestine (now they are against this sort of behavior... I wonder what changed!!!?)

dont be naive.
do you think the arabs wanted western money to build a civilised state?
and do you think the easterners want the western money to build a democracy?
they have your democracy deep in somewhere!

you help them endlessly, but you still dont help enough.
look at africa! billions (in a form of food or other materials) each year flow to africa. any improvement?
