I would love to go there too. I have some friends who went ski-ing in Turkey last year and they preferred it to the snobby, expensive European resorts.

Palandöken is by far the best if you like challenging skiing. Uludaag is Turkey's answer to snobby European resorts.

There are great places to ski in America that are more about the skiing than status. I have always prefered the utah slopes compared to the colorado resports.
