I would like to start a forum discussion (no vulgarities, please - just honest and thoughtful discussion) on the recent killing of a young girl in Canada. As you may know, her cab driver father strangled her after he became incensed that she choose western clothing instead of covering her head. This case intrigues me - I am wondering what you think of this.

What are your thoughts? Do you condone this? If so, what are your reasons? What is your view of women who wear western clothing (and by that, I do not imply that western clothing is itself immodest. There are many women who are not covered and remain modest by their lifestyles, including clothes - I am one of them)?
