There is a sad story about Japanese Americans too...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_American_internment

Was it really necessary?

No, if you look at the issue with the morality of an average, middle aged, frustrated, American housewife with a son in college.

But, Mr.Roosvelt thought it was necessary.

Now the question is, was Mr. Roosvelt immoral or is it perhaps that a ruler can not afford to follow moral codes of a housewife, when it comes to matters associated with running the State?

This is all becoming rather dull. Are you going to dig up any old historical event now in order to continue your arguments with Teaschip?

And...why did you post it in the Turkey forum?

I thought you were an advocate for free speech...can you not simply skip my posts?

My post is not about history or fight...it is about morality. Who is Teaschip?

Sure I can ignore it. All that will happen is that others will dig up skeletons from Turkey's closet

German's were also interned during the war. I suppose there was a paranoia that immigrants remain nationalistic. Where the hell did they get that idea???!?!?! lol lol lol

Do you want to talk about the treatment of English people living in Japan during the war?

That is the difference between housewife morality and the morality of a ruler.

One assumes that the ruler has more data at his disposal, to make a better decision...If you have idiots as rulers, tough!
