I can relate to the growing older bit! Several years ago, I was contemplating doing a degree, like her I did not have a full education when I was younger. No university or college for me.
I was talking to a colleague about the degree, and I was saying "when I finish I will be 45, I am not sure I will put it to good use" thinking at the time this seemed old! He said to me, but you will still be 45 if you don't do the degree, and you will still have nothing.
So I did the degree and I have not looked back thanks to that colleague.
