I was going to say that but wanted to check my book. Why is there an "i" there?

BEcause it is the best teacher in the world.

dünyaNIN .... öğretmenİ

You put nın after dünya so you have to put the i after öğretmen.

e.g. onun arkadaşı: his/her friend
Ali'nın kitabı : Ali's friend

etc etc
