Dear ......,
I have now sent you several emails and contacted you by phone many times regarding the 6500 euros that we deposited into your bank account for you to pay for my hospital bill when I was sick in Turkey in November 2006. You have also failed to pay the AU$800 that you borrowed from myself, as well as the money that you owed me for working at your hotel from May 2006 - September 2006.
It has now been over a year since the incident and you have still not deposited the money to the ABC, or returned the funds that I lent you, as well as the funds you owe me for her work at your hotel.
This is a very serious matter and we have contacted you several times about this but you have not replied. We can therefore only believe that you have taken the money and do not intend on doing the right thing and paying it back.
We are writing you this email as a last chance for you. If you do not contact us, or pay at least part of the money in the next 7 days we will be forced to call the Turkish Police, as well as begin legal proceedings against you. We have been in contact with a lawyer from the Australian Embassy in Turkey and he will begin proceedings immediatly if you do not adhere to these requests. We have excessive email correspondance from you which proves that we did pay you the money, that you understand this, and that you have not repaid the money.
Additionally, if you do not reply to this letter, we must assume that your email is no longer active and we will place an advertisment in the Selcuk, or Ismir newspaper addressed to you, containing a copy of this letter. We will also send a copy to the Turkish Police in Selcuk, the Mosque, The Wallabies Hotel, The Canberra Hotel and all other locations that you visit in the hope that you will see this letter, or someone you know will and will be able to tell ou about it.
We do not want to take legal action against you or contact the police and understand that you may have some money problems. But stealing is not the solution, and we know you do not want to do that. I believe you are a good person. I am now back in Australia and want to resolve this matter with you as soon as possible. You may reply to me by email, or contact me on ......... You may reply in Turkish as I am able to have it translated. But you must understand that i am very serious about this and this will be your last chance.
