is there an old turkish saying like "be as u look" or "look as u are"???
and i dun really catch what it means!

Either look as you are or be as you look.
I guess its translation is something like this...
It means, don't deceive people, don't behave twofaced. Always be sincere with how you look and how you are.
Don't pretend to be the person you aren't. Be same inside and outside...
