Marhaba!

I have a question for you lovely folks. I have some time off this summer, about 3 months. I would like to spend that time somewhere in Turkey (like Ankara). I want to immerse myself in Turkey and I feel within those 3 months, I will become fluent in the language. (I speak Turkmen fluently) I want to take some courses at a university. Can anyone tell me about accomadations, cost of living, cost of tuition, etc. in a place like Ankara? I will be traveling with my young daughter, so I would need a place that is safe.

Any info you guys provide would be greatly appreciated.

Teshakur! Rehmet. Allah Alkasin.

Get in touch with major universities, see what they can offer you..

Hacettepe University
Middle East Technical University
Bilkent University

You can reach them all on the internet...

Good luck !

I can't remember which thread it was on now, but thank you AEnigma for the "Rightmove" site. I didn't realise they did so much business abroad. Only problem was nearly everything in Istanbul was new apartments, in what looked like a large new complex, so not much in the way of variety.

Anyone know of any other property sites please?

Only if it comes in black with a camel and a weaving loom . Oh and a post box large enough to fit a copy of Zaman. I would also need a tea set for when the missionaries visit.
