Thıs ıs a lıne from a Pamela song, but the verb baffles me.
The whole line goes:
Ayrılamayız biz, ihtiras var, öldüremeyiz biz, tutkumuz var.
It seems like it must tranlsate like subjunctive.
"We shouldn't break up, there is greed there, We shouldn't murder the passion that ıs between us." But my books say the subjunctive ending would be "Ayrılmalim biz....and
öldürmelim biz. etc"
Ideas?

In addition;
tutkumuz var= we have a/the passion
Because, in Turkish, the more common "have" form for possession is like "my .... exists".
tutku+muz= our passion
var= exit(s)
For that reason, it directly means "Our passion exists", but it wants to say "We have the passion"
