Customs are different in Turkey as far as valentine's day is concerned.
Boys never buy present normally. It is girls I am afraid.
Gifts are treated as the degree of your love.
And more expensive the gift, more it is valued.

My boyfriend and I both bought for one and other last valentines day in turkey......
